Before another gut specialist passed me on to Allison, I had spent around $40k on numerous misguided and failed antibiotic, FMT and antimicrobial treatments over 16 years to treat a gut infection made worse by way too many antibiotics that had confined me to our apartment for the previous four years. Once my gut problems became a SIBO diagnosis my symptoms were completely unmanageable. It was a misery for me, my family and friends. Not to mention my employer. Within a few months of starting Allison's treatment my life was largely back to normal without any of the harsh, painful and crazily expensive treatments of the past.
